I CORINTHIANS 15:50
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Many people have a concept that the kingdom promised to Israel in Old Testament prophecy must be physical, and therefore they say it is yet to come in future. They say animal sacrifices, in a physical temple will be resumed at that time. They say Israel will get saved in that kingdom. And they say the Gospel is therefore something else entirely - something distinct from God's Kingdom-plan for Israel.
But notice Paul said flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. That means the Kingdom isn't physical.
Our physical bodies will therefore need to undergo a change before they go into the Kingdom of God, he explained.
It also means physical animals, and a physical Temple, can't be the essence of the Kingdom.
Paul wasn't talking about some other kingdom - he was talking about the Kingdom of God - the same Kingdom which was Promised the Jews in Bible-Prophecy.
The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the scheme by which that Promise is fulfilled.
