The Story the Bible is Telling Us

Even if mankind never fell, there would have come a point where the earth couldn't take any more people.

So that shows that it was always God's idea - and not just because of the fall - that there would come a time when the population of mankind would reach its final peak, and God would step in and people would stop procreating.

So the fact that marriage won't exist in the resurrection, doesn't deny that the story the Bible is telling us is the story of the restoration of God's good creation.

And it means that God didn't necessarily create things from the start in a way to accommodate the fact that mankind was going to fall.

God always wanted the earth populated, and it had to reach an end-point, and then God would dwell with mankind and we with Him. Redemption is the story of that plan being recovered.
