When I was a child, there was a saying, "Children should be seen and not heard".
A lot of us treat the Holy Spirit like that: like He should be seen and not heard, during our meetings.
And we know He can't be seen. So it ends up He's neither seen nor heard. We just want to know He's there - but no more.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is the Spirit Himself. We can't say we love the Spirit, and not desire His manifestation!
At Samaria there was great joy, when they heard Phillip and saw the miracles he did. Hearing and seeing - and loving it.
