Illustration - Israel Prophecies Fulfilled

The following is an illustration of the distinction that exists between historically fulfilled Bible-Prophecies concerning Israel, and the ongoing blessings experienced by the modern-day Church:

You planned a Football game.

You pre-booked the venue.

It was to be a ticketed event.

You wished all the public to be able to come.

So you determined to prepay all costs yourself, then to issue free tickets.

Next you selected a ticket outlet.

You promised the staff that you would issue free tickets to them first.

(Of course you realised not all staff might be interested in the free offer).

Next you would make the free-tickets available to the public to freely collect and distribute.

The event-date drew near.

You went and paid all expenses in full.

Tickets were made available first to staff at the office, then to the public everywhere. There was a flurry of eager activity.

Then came the day of the much-anticipated event.

All who has their tickets began arriving.

They took their seats and enjoyed the event together.

It made no difference then whether they'd been staff or public.

Both enjoyed the event in exactly the same way as the other without distinction.

Just as you'd planned all along!

You carried-out your promise to the temporary staff at the office first, then to the whole public everywhere.

Similarly Bible-Promises concerning Israel's salvation had their fulfilment on location and on time in Israel - we're not still waiting for their future fulfilment.

The remnant received it - then the Gentiles were included in one new body, just as God had planned all along:

"...in thy seed all nations of the earth shall be blessed".
