The Bible as a Seven-Act Play

Act 1
Plan - Christ crucified before the foundation of the world; God planned to save believers in Jesus - destining believers for glory

Act 2
Creation

Act 3
Fall

Act 4
Promise - to bless all nations through the Seed, which is Christ

Act 5
Custodianship/Law - Israel became custodians of the Promise; the Law was given as a shadow

Act 6
Fulfilment - the Kingdom now/not yet - the Gospel of His Son - for all nations

Act 7
Summary - the Second Coming, resurrection, judgement, Kingdom - new heavens and earth

Note:-

Act 6 is not merely an unforeseen parenthesis following an unexpected part-fulfilment of the Promise - the Gospel and the Gospel-scheme is the fulfilment that was intended, as spoken by the Prophets

Act 7 is not lacking any postponed fulfilment of the Promise in Israel - the Gospel, and the Second Coming which is part of the Gospel, is the fulfilment - the final fulfilment.
