Isaiah 11 Fulfilled

Israel and Judah were reunited politically when they returned from exile from all over the known-world: (from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, the islands of the sea, all 127 provinces and nations spanning from Ethiopia to India, and from all nations - verses 11&12; Esther 1:1.)

According to verse 9, it was to be fulfilled at a time when God's holy mountain would still be regarded as significant.

It refers to the physical mount Zion, not the heavenly - otherwise it would be irrelevant for the Prophet to have pointed-out that snakes located there on the mountain wouldn't be harmful.

Once the New Covenant was made, God no longer required worship on that mountain, as Jesus stated (John 4:21&23) - therefore the Prophecy MUST have been fulfilled BEFORE the New Covenant was made.

Messiah was to come to Israel in that historical context - once they were already reunited (verse 1&10). If therefore Israel's reunification is still future, then Jesus' coming to Israel was mistimed in order to qualify Him as the promised-Messiah.

But the nation had indeed been reunited by the time of Jesus (Luke 3:36; Acts 4:36, 26:6,7; Phil.3:5; Rev.7:4-8). Jesus was therefore precisely ON TIME to fulfil Messianic Prophecy.
