Isaiah 19 Fulfilled

The Prophecy's direct historical fulfilment MUST have taken place at a time BEFORE the New Covenant was made, because it mentioned an altar (verse 19); sacrifice and oblation (verse 21) and pilgrimages for the purpose of worship (verse 23) - things which God no longer requires since the sacrifice of His Son.

Other details which placed the Prophecy's fulfilment in the PAST rather than in the future, included the mention of:

The predominance of idols in Egypt; the person of Pharaoh; and the description of Egypt and the surrounding nations as kingdoms - each circumstances which applied to Egypt millennia ago, but not anymore.
