The Beautiful Young Lady That She Was Was Back

 Some years ago one of the youth in the church started developing some attitude and behavioural problems.

She was rebelling, had taken up smoking and had become critical of people including of me.

One night we were just about to start a home-meeting: all the youth were standing up around the lounge room.

“If Jesus walked through the door right now,” I said to the young lady, in front of them all, “He would ignore everybody else, and go straight up to you and tell you that He loves you!”

I walked up to her and said, “I rebuke this spirit of rejection, in Jesus’ Name!”

Straightaway she collapsed to the floor, and writhed around strongly like a snake.

In a moment she was free. She got up.

“What happened?” she said, sheepishly.

All the rebellion was gone from her countenance. She was relieved and calm.

I said to a couple of the girls, her friends: “Giver her a hug”.

The beautiful young lady that she was, was back.

Jesus said:

“…these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they CAST OUT DEVILS; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover”

(Mark 16:17,18).
