When Paul says that God did such-and-such "in Christ" - he was unpacking the real meaning of Old Testament prophecy, and declaring/announcing that God had fulfilled it, and was explaining that He did it in and through Christ.
Then Paul says that we are "in Christ". Which means that what God did for and through and in Christ, He did for Israel, and what He did for Israel He really did for all Adam's descendants, including you.
