Modern Jews and the Law

Did Jesus Christ expect Jews to keep Moses' Law, after His death and resurrection?

Answer: God doesn't expect Jews to do anything that He doesn't expect Gentiles to do. There is only one Church. There is neither Jew nor Greek, bond nor free, male nor female. We are all one in Christ Jesus.

God didn't give modern Judaism to the Jews, or to anyone.

Modern Judaism doesn't keep Moses' Law, neither can it.

Modern Judaism falls into the category of neither the Old Covenant nor the New Covenant.

God has only ever given two programs to the nation of Israel.

One, He gave them Moses' Law, when He brought them up out of Egypt.

Two, He gave them a New Covenant in His blood.

Modern Judaism is neither.

The modern way of observing the feasts is neither.

Gentiles are grafted into the New Covenant.

The New Covenant and not the Old Covenant fulfils the promises to the forefathers.

Jews enter the New Covenant only on the basis of faith, not by ethnicity, and certainly not by attempting to keep Moses' Law nor the modern aberration of it which is Judaism.

Jesus didn't expect that modern Israel should keep the feasts.

The Passover transitioned into Christ's own sacrifice upon the cross, and His sacrifice is remembered every time believers share the bread and the cup together, which can be done as regularly as believers happen to do it.

It's not possible to keep the feasts today in the way Moses' Law demanded. What Jesus gave the disciples to do was to remember Him every time we break bread together.

Jesus didn't give them a third option, such as what is done in modern Judaism.

Jew and Gentile are free from the Law.

Christ is our all in all.

Modern Israel doesn't have to keep the feasts, or the Law.

Neither do the Gentiles.
