The Apostles' Gospel in Prophecy

Here's a key that I find helps unlock the meaning of a lot of Old Testament Bible-Prophecy:

If a prophecy mentions Old Covenant functions such as going exclusively to Jerusalem to worship at the altar, at the Temple, with burnt sacrifices, oblation, offerings, incense, Levite priests or to keep the feasts - then you know the prophecy has already been fulfilled.

You know it's fulfilled because those things were only shadows of the New Covenant, and God will never be interested in anyone anywhere going back to shadows ever; and

Because the Temple and everything associated with it were forever destroyed long ago; and

The Levitical priesthood can never legitimately start again because the genealogies required to prove the priests' descent from Levi were forever destroyed after AD70;

It would also be illegitimate because Christ has already shed the blood of the New Covenant. You can never have two covenants functioning at the same time; and

The Apostles showed in their writings that they were fulfilled already; and

History also shows that they were fulfilled already.

As you read these prophecies again, and place those parts of the prophecies where they belong - in the past, as fulfilled prophecy - it's amazing what clarity begins to unfold. What you see emerging is THE GOSPEL. The Apostolic Gospel.
