Isaiah 66:22-23

A church elder said to me, "The Bible says we're all going to be keeping the Feast of Tabernacles during the Millennium, so we may as well start now".

Someone else says the Bible prophesies that we'll be observing the sabbaths and making pilgrimages to Jerusalem during the Millennium.

But is that really what the Prophet said?

ISAIAH 66:22-23
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

It didn't mention the Millennium - it referenced the new heavens and new earth.

And it referenced the new heavens and earth only to say that just as the new heavens and new earth shall be permanent, so the Jewish nation would not be annihilated despite going into captivity.
23 And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Despite going into captivity, the Jewish nation would be restored and would by-and-large resume Levitical worship, while the Old Covenant still stood. There would even be proselytes from many nations who would worship God and make pilgrimages to Jerusalem to worship, in those days.

And it happened - see Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Daniel and Acts 2!
