Jesus Our Example

Jesus kept the Law. But:

You can't go to a Temple, like He did.

You can't keep the Feasts the way Moses commanded, like He did.

You can't tell people to offer sacrifices, like He told some people to.

You don't have to limit your witness to Jews, like He did.

You don't have to lay down your life at age 33, like He had to.

But you can obey what God wants you to do, like He obeyed what God wanted Him to do.

You can walk as He walked, in that.

You can embrace the new life God made available for us through His cross.

You can embrace the program Jesus spoke about for us.

You can embrace the New Covenant which the Prophets foresaw would be for us.

He made the New Testament for you, in His blood.
